Horror in October.
Terror on our shores.
Bombing on the high seas.
Jackboots storming Ore.
How we love to shiver
And tremble to our core
When temps begin to plummet
With a full moon looking o’er!
Power makes us cower,
And flee its watchful eye.
Quickly, we abandon laws
On which we once relied.
Institutions crumble
And corporations sway.
Reckless swings of power
Make them stay out of the way.
Higher Learning muzzles
What once it helped to grow:
Ideas, once provocative,
Stand neatly in a row.
And propaganda fills the air
And infiltrates our schools.
Our children learn to fall in line,
To cheer, obey this fool.
And tech bros pave the way to make
A full surveillance state.
Don’t worry, you’ve got naught to hide.
It isn’t you they hate.
But look, how hatred seeps and spreads
And stretches past its core,
Till all are primed for fisticuffs,
Here and beyond our shores.
All hangs on an emergency,
A manufactured storm,
That threatens us with lightning.
Mobilized, and faced with harm,
We’ll pledge our oath of fealty,
Of loyalty, most true,
To you, who would protect us.
Who’s protecting us from you?

Causation by Decree
I meant to add that it all goes back to a rotten orange head, rotten to the core.
The point is without help from all quarters, it could not succeed.
Of course.
No one, it would appear.
