My five latest posts are at the end of this newsletter, latest first. *** It's been a quiet week for poetry around here, and of course I skipped last week, since I was out of town and therefore AFK (away from keyboard.) This week's one poem is called Chalk Dust, and it is about the realization, that we are not as unique in our thoughts and deeds as we would like to think. Most of my week was spent Up North, sweltering in a different state. But also spending a lovely time catching up with family. We went on a muggy but nonetheless spectacular guided tour of a botanical garden (Chanticleer near Philadelphia) where my daughter is working as an intern. The photos from that morning should fuel my blog for the foreseeable future. Hope you are finding a way to stay cool this summer! I suggest finding an indoor place with AC and internet, and reading my blog! Bring on the margaritas poolside! One more month of this and it will hopefully chill down again.
