Good news is, that since it is publication day, the ebook is not on pre-order anymore, but is available to order now. I checked, and I do indeed appear on Amazon now, for the first time. I just finished my Author Page bio there. If you swing by, let me know what you think of it!

I am still waiting for my printed proof, so print books are not live yet, despite it being pub day. I may have jumped the gun a little on that one. But you will be the first to know when print is available, and it will be at many of the stores already on the Books2Read link,

Australian, French and German bookstores are included in this list!). So no need to go hunting elsewhere, unless you want to. It's print on demand, so I'm not sure how long it takes to ship. Let me know what you experience.

If you have a favorite bookstore you want to patronize, and I do love to support independent bookstores, please ask if they can order the book for you! The distributor does put the book in catalogues, but only public demand will put it on the shelves. Word of mouth is the best advertising of all, and I hope the book will give you and your friends plenty to talk about.

In other writing news, I have not added a word to my novel, since this publication process has sapped every ounce of my energy. But I do intend to get back in the saddle asap.

I am hoping to commission a cake with frosting in the style of the cover of the book, to be eaten at or after the first reading from my book that I get invited to. Preferably with champagne. When that will be is yet to be determined. If you or your friends have any ideas, let me know!

Sorry to pester you, with no new poems or posts to show for it. I imagine I will eventually write something about the publishing saga, but I think I need some distance, first.

I did send out about five newer poems, that missed the cutoff for this book (April) to a local zine publisher called CityBusPrint. I will let you know if anything develops out of that. They will be showcasing their latest edition, number Four, at the DCAZ (Duval Comic and Zine event at the Public Library downtown Jacksonville, June 21st from 11-5) Many of my favorite local writers will be tabling there, including Damon Thomas, Nicole Zwolinski, Maxwell, and probably many others I'm forgetting.

I had the pleasure of watching the live show, Untold Stories, which is put on at the Florida Theater downtown Jax, by Barbara Colaciello, on Thursday night. Damon Thomas, Anna Jacobson and several other speakers told great stories, which will be rebroadcast on the Untold Stories Podcast sometime in the coming months. Well worth a listen!

Many of my recent poems before May ended up in the book, which is why they are missing below. Trying to locate them on the site will only lead you to a 404 page. Sorry. But you can always buy the book!
