Who we are
Our website address is: https://frlcnews.com. This is a blog of personal observations and opinions by the author, Andrea LeDew. I live in Jacksonville, FL, USA and can be contacted by email at email@example.com or by filling out a contact form on the site.
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
We collect personal data such as name, email address, and IP address included in a WordPress account holder’s profile, for the purpose of running a blog and disseminating blog posts. All other personal information is voluntarily submitted by the user in the course of posting a comment on or subscribing to the blog.
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
We do not collect any personal health data, unless a person has concentually divulged this data in a comment which they voluntarily chose to make and publish on this blog.
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
A subscriber form may be used to obtain email addresses from interested subscribers. The potential subscriber has to insert his email address and consent to subscription by clicking on a button. This subscription service may be done through a 3rd party such as MailPoet, under their privacy policies. This website does not use this personal information for marketing purposes other than to send out blog updates and newsletters with info about this blog.
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
