Welcome to For Random Learning Comes! I’m Andrea LeDew.

author

I’m a writer in Jacksonville Florida. I write poems, stories and essays here, while I work on something longer.

My life has been full of random twists and turns, and each one has taught me something. I came to Florida in my teens. After college, I spent ten months as an exchange student in Germany. I then went to law school and worked as a lawyer till thirty. During the next ten years, my four children were born. My forties were spent learning the ins and outs of special education, to help my child with autism. Finally, I threw in the towel and homeschooled. As I approached sixty, I lost both parents. Now, I am a caregiver to an adult with autism, and I’m still writing and doodling in the margins.
