This poem is a bit of a departure from my usual dystopian rants.
I think we could all use a little solace now, a little calming communion with Nature. Now that the weather is turning deliciously cool and bearable, in my part of the world, I can’t help but long for that sense of serenity, that a walk in the wild can bring. Enjoy, and thanks for coming by, as you wander through Life!
Know it
To be beautiful.
Know the
Out-of-doors.
Take a
Practice dutiful.
Make that
Practice yours.
Wander
In the open air.
Wander
In the wild.
Wonder
What has put you there.
Wonder,
Like a child.
Look deep
In the heart of things.
Look deep
In your soul.
Take steps
To be part of things.
Take steps
To be whole.

Thank you for the bit of solace. It’s sorely needed.
This bit of solace is brought to you by Mother Nature. 😊
She always manages to come through for us, doesn’t she?
